Jack, I think any premium bullet loaded by the large ammo companies will work for your gun. 38 special has been given up by almost every law enforcement group in favor of 40 S&W, but it is the gun you carry and use that is what is important. Another bullet that several federal law enforcement groups use (groups that are very interested in "stopping the threat" with no arguments afterwards) is the Speer Gold Dot. Find a load for that and I'm sure it will work fine. In the end, it is probably just as good as Hydra shocks.

And for the waaaay off topic postings regarding the Northeast and how messed up it is, please find another forum/bbs. This at least has to do with "tools and their uses."
