Yup, I checked back to mid August, a bunch of pages, don't remember how many. LG started four topics, two were roughly related to double guns and some posters participated. I stand corrected, somewhat.

Lowell, you don't have to repeat the thread titles. I told you I looked them up. If I felt like telling my life story as poor financial planner or starting a thread discussing my 38 years (and running) as a big block Harley owner, I'm sure I could also get an audience. Because of the theme of Dave's forum and website, I would rather discuss my 50 plus years as a double shotgun owner and researcher. Anyone who wants to know about my "lean times" and my Harley can contact me by snail mail. However, don't expect an answer because I spend most of my time shooting and messing with my bird guns. I told you "I stand corrected, somewhat." Isn't that enough? As far as what I've done, I try to participate in discussions of double guns, both technical and historical.

Lowell, Murph brings home a bit more "meat" in his posts than either you or I. Give him his due. Maybe mentioned that 454CID Suburban a few more times than retains novelty but when were wrong-headed luv affairs with machinery ever forbidden here? Now that nuanced subliminal schtick that you used to do really had me scratchin my head until I figured out how numerous were the clubs that didn't need you as a member. Let it go. Live and let [the mittel Euros, the French, the PGCA] live.

I meant that in very best way. The folks here are stars. I've shot, bs'ed, gunsmithed, or broke bread with about 7 gents here, and said hello to another half a dozen. I post here because I can't do enough of the shooting and socializing with you all. I failed to get with Rabbit the last two Vintagers and shame on me.

I'll even take a quick read of one of Thorny's threads when motorcycles are the subject. As Rabbit suggests, I have mentioned my precious Suburban more than once, but before today, I've never mentioned my HD, and I promise I never will again. I like double guns much more.

I ain't never shootin [at] all those black targets in that dusty cornpatch again. Must be why real birds aren't safety orange? Best part was paddling across the creek to the crab distributor, paddling back, eating the crabs. But I would have liked meeting Yeti--or Lowell if he got over our way.

Lowell, I take it you're objecting that eightbore doesn't post openly and candidly on technical and historical matters of doublegundom? Have to disagree.
