Looked at gun again today. Mfg 1913 according to tag on gun. Measured chamber and its still 2.5 in. Very even faded blue on receiver but rest of blue is OK for age of gun. Owner came in while I was looking at it(consignment gun) and I offered him $400. He said the gun shop owner was in charge so I offered him $400. Owner of gun left and shop owner said he would tell gun owner. Hmmm. Probably won't happen, but $600 is too much for me for worn mdl 12. If they split the diff @ $500 I'll go for it. Its definitly cute at 25in with that solid rib. I'll check back with them next week. JW
