The book the;"Golden Age of Shotgunning,"First published in 1971,by author. Bob Hinman[A former editor of the Shooting Times, U.S.A.], pages 136-142, describes the Folsom & Crescent products and business in detail. Appendix A in this book pages 127-163 provides a very comprehensive listing of known gunmakers/dealers operating in the U.S.A. from the 1870,s through the early 1900,s. This is a "MUST' book for those interested in tracing the origin of guns marketed in the period mentioned above.
