Here are the dimensions of some of the ones I have used. the ones with a * are primers that someone else had miked up.
As you can see the cheddite primers were the most consistant in size compared to some of the others. I have used the Win. Rem, Fed, and Cheddites in 12, 16, 20, and 28 ga. and the Cheddites in 2 9/16" 16 ga. along with their hulls.
Federal 209A .239-.242 dia.
CCI 209 .240-.242
Rem. 209P .241-.242
Cheddite 209 .240-.243 stepped, most consistent in size
Win. 209 .240-243 stepped
Fiocchi 616 .243-.244 *
Rio type 209/G600 .244 *
Nobelsport type 209/686 .243-.244*
Also the ones with the * I have not used
