I coped with all sorts of right hand objects in my left hand world including guns until about twenty years ago when I bought my two principle big game rifles which are LH bolt action Ruger 77s. I had the mag. release changed to left hand on my carry pistol which is a Beretta 96.
Other then that, I pretty much use guns as they are, and I've adapted to the point where I don't really think about it any more.
BTW There's one revolver that's actually easier to manipulate by a lefty the way it came from the factory and that's the Colt SAA. If anyone reading this has one pick it up in your left hand and notice how easy it is to operate the loading gate etc.
