The saga continues
Who wants to speculate and guess what the announcement will be on 1 Nov. . This is with regards to the email sent out saying no more RBL 20's will be made.
Will it be the 16 Ga RBL or the 12 Ga RBL
and then of course , who is going to order one. Damn, now I am going to have to complete the set!!!!

I called CSMC on Friday to be sure that I would still be able to order the RBL 28 that I have been putting off, and the lady I spoke with said she thought they might also stop building 28's after 11/1. But, she wasn't sure. And, no info on what the announcement will be. Makes it hard to plan expenditures.

Buy the 28. I got mine right before I deployed. Wonderful gun.
When I was calling regarding the 20 I bought, they said there would be a 16 and a 12. They alluded to lots of good stuff on the 12 as it was going to be a clays/waterfowl gun.VR, 32" barrels, etc. Suitable for steel. 3" chambers. not a light weight game gun. so, there are possibilities

That would be an interesting offering, but I hope they take a hard look at the "action dressing" of that Turkish S&W. I would not expect them to match that seen on lowest grade post-WWII ca. 1955 Beretta SxS, but it should be at least better than that found on factory issue PBS. The "engraving" on most RBLs I have seen just plain sucks.

I hope they'll build some in advance and keep their promises.

Why not surprise the hell out of everyone, scoop the market, and make it a .470NE?

Me too, there is nothing quite like owning $10,000+ rifle in useless caliber. I hope it's 16ga so I don't have to buy one.

I'd buy a 16ga RBL in a hearbeat.
I'd buy an RBL 16ga barrel set on the 20ga frame even faster.
Not so sure I'd buy a 12ga.

I'd probably buy a 16 ga barrel set for my RBL 20, but not sure I'd buy a complete gun in 16 ga. Not because I don't like 16's, but because I have so many 16's already. If they do a scaled frame .410 with 30" barrels, I'm in. I'd also buy a set of 30" fixed choke barrels for the RBL 20.
