Went out with the new toy for Pheasants today and got the first two Roosters I shot at with it. This is the first one which was a rather longish shot taken with a load of #6 in the full choke barrel.
Second bird was somewhat closer and got it with a load of #7 1/2 out of the modified barrel. Then on a long trudge, Skitso got on two different runners that finally took to the air out of 12-gauge range. Finally, almost basck to the car, she locked up and I walked in for a bird to get out right at my feet. I delayed my natural snap shot and waited 'til he got out a ways and missed him two shots!!
