Steve, thanks for the details. I'm going to try this if I can find the stuff. I know I can find the stain by mail order, but the solvent, if I can't use something else, that may be an issue. I don't know where to buy it off the shelf and mail ordering solvent is, I suspect, rather difficult.

I don't suppose you find it at some sort of national chain store like Lowe's or Walmart by chance?
