Might be fun to broaden the scope on fine rifles with a little half stock rifle by William R. Schaefer of Boston. Schaefer was a very fine maker of custom double barrel shotguns and rifles. I’ve replaced the old broken ramrod with one of rosewood, the rear sight slot had a scope block in it so I made a sight for it, it’s high because when I eventually take it to the range I’ll file in a sight setting and then reblue.
