A fascinating article. Of great interest is that a Wunchammer 1903 sporter cost just short of $50. The purchasing power of the dollar in 1910 was a twentieth of what it is today .... so the cost, from one of the two best gunmakers in the country, was the equivalent of a thousand bucks. Dirt cheap.

Thanks Jerry, well done this will save us both a lot of time. I tried a few years ago to copy catalogs into the PFD format but a lot of folks could not read it. I sent a copy to several other members. This is the good old stuff of were most of my research comes from, when everyone has had a chance to read the article we can go to chapter two.

Copying to PDF turned out to be relatively easy as the ability came with my HP all in one printer. It seems to have a done a pretty good job.
Anybody else need a copy?
What other articles do we need to share?
