I can't see any reason why you shouldn't put the load in a standard 2 3/4" case and fire it. The low pressure should not cause any problems in the shorter chamber. It is common practice for Eley to load ammo intended for 2 1/2" chamber guns and put it in a 2 3/4" case such as the old Grand Prix loading. Lagopus.....
