I note that handloading is uncommon in the UK - hence SB is considering factory ammo. "Known low pressure loads with light shot charges," would be a more suitable statement for the USA where many are knowledgable handloaders. Also, 70 mm (2 3/4") cases are acceptable when loaded to KNOWN low pressure. The thing to not get confused is that SAAMI loads are low pressure when using light shot charges. If you propose to shoot an older gun, you must know the pressure of the proposed load is within the design envelope and current condition of the gun.
