I really like the shotgun butt and the minimum drop at heel, it reminds me of some of the English guns and rifles I've seen. Unusual for a US maker but quite attractive and, I would assume, also quite comfortable to shoot. I like well-stocked M/L's and this is IMO one of the best-looking I've ever seen from any vintage American maker. You are indeed fortunate.
