Does anyone have experience with this gauge? How does it compare with the clymer type gauge? Thanks, Pete

It is back ordered and they have a tentative in stock date of 1/19.

Made in Angleland. Certainly a good illustration of larger sectioned and probably stiffer exterior rod or tube. I'd say it's a tabletop type and shown in the orientation in which employed. No application info so can't determine what gauges it will plumb; maybe the Brits only care about 12. I'd say it's a bit pricey but if it's what you want, go for it.

rabbit,
it states in the title "All Gauges". I imagine it will do at least down to 28ga.

It still looks like the problem will be the flexibility in the shaft you slide the barrels down. The slightest movement can flex the thin rod giving a false or misleading reading.

I'd like to see a close up of the tip. It looks as though the barrel mandrel may be flat instead of having a ball in it for the barrel to bear against where the indicator takes its reading. Hard to tell though.

After watching all his videos I feel like I'm ready to do some gunsmithing on my SxS's.
