It's name is probably TOZ or similar and it's the "Russian Purdey" by favorable comparison. Our guy just forgot the quotation marks.

A bit hard to tell from the photos, but looks to me like the wood is proud. Certainly should not be for $30K.

Any of y'all notice there's something awfully strange about the rib extension or third bite extension on the barrels? You can see the hazy outline of the rib mixed in with it. Sort of a ghost shadow. Methinks this photo has been touched up a bit....

It was originally made for Baba Jaga. I would say Ole' Lass from deep woods would take a spill off the broom if she seen the price being asked.

The seller is right it's MC-11 and I never saw one with this kind of finish.
MC-11 is allmost exact copy of self-opener Purdey-Beesley gun exept it's not stocked to fence.
I can bet this gun is much stronger, than original, but unfortunatly a bit heavier also, 'cause been made for trap and skeet.
I've heard L.Brejnev had something like this at the time and Khrustchev gave to Mr.Flemming as gift allmost the same gun, but a bit modest, than this one.
About 220 MC-11 made only, so make your day. I guess there are number of collectors here who could easily give more, than $30K for this thing now.

Thad Scott had one about a year ago that was listed for 37,500 and it went fast.

Most probably a Tulla gun. Have seen a few which are pretty well made but a far cry from a Purdey. They tend to run a little heavy.
