I guessit depends on how far you want it bent,& how the grain is.
Only Gun I had bent was a Francotte that needed about 3/8" cast off.
Fairly close to me in nearby MA, Mike Orlen did a great job.
I would venture to say that if the amount is on the small side..say 1/4-1/2 inch or less your chances with a good Bender would be very good.Bigger amounts would, I imagine increase chance of spring-back .....or the dreaded SNAP!!!!
