Thanks to bad weather causing my son's ice hockey game to be canceled, a cold morning (15 degrees) keeping the amount of hunters afield low, some nice pointing from Hank, and a good flush from my cousin Jeff G. my son got his first pheasant. What a good morning. Bill G. [img] [/img]

Proud father!! And you have a right to be. Good luck to you and your son. By the way, is that a Superposed?

Bill, a hearty "Congratulations!" to your son and congratulations to you for raising him right. Like tunes said, you only get one "first one" but that's just on pheasants... then there's doves, ducks, geese, chickens, quail, grouse, woodcock... if he keeps at it he'll have many "first ones."

I look forward to many more firsts with him. I am really glad he has taken some interest in hunting. Any day I get out with him is a great day.
And yes Jimmy that is a Superposed. An old and perfect 20-ga. not even broken in yet.

Great picture Mr. Bill, I tthink you should have it enlarged, framed & hung in your office or home. You can almost feel the cold ........
