Over the years, I've consigned many guns with reputable dealers, usually with quick, professional results and hassle-free success that was worth the 15% fee. However, I too had a consignment experience like Steve's (probably worse, actually) the one and only time I did business with Lewis Drake & Associates. That doesn't mean their inventory isn't cool, or that you would have a similar experience, but it's always wise to go into these arrangements with both eyes open and your wallet deep in your pocket.
