Craig- is the top ils. Smith an Ideal? If so, does it have Damascus barrels? I thought Smith and Parker stopped importing those right around WW1 era- I know of two "way out of the way" gun shops (not boutique "Gun Shoppes" like Ivory Ballz, etc" and am going on a Winchester "recon run" in next several days- they have some older Remington Green paper unfired 10 gauge in the original 2 and 7/8" length- before the "Elmer Keith/Chas. Askins/John Olin 3 and 1/2" R.C. 10 bore load, and the Ithaca 10 NID- Elmer keith's favorite medicine for pheasants, so I read- Wow-shoot 'em, pick 'em, field strip 'em, all with one "Bang"--RWTF
