What is so sacrosanct about a few thousanths at the muzzle of a shotgun that overides all consideration of adjusting the gun to better serve its user? Does the same line of reasoning prohibit adjusting the stock dimensions to fit the user? What if the stock finish is too glossy--is the owner bound to leave it as is just for the sake of originality? How about smoothing the trigger pulls? My goodness, it is just a tool! I suspect the Brits are astounded at our obsession to do nothing to improve the shooting qualities of our guns.....
