It has the Birmingham temporary or provisional stamp of "Crown" over "BP" which began in 1855 and it looks to have been proofed/proved again between 1868 & 1875. So maybe a manufacture date between 1855 & 1875(1855<Made<1875) with "G.G." having something to do with the tubes. "W&CS" could be W & C Scott as they made a world of longarms for the trade. Hopefully some of the British experts will make a link between W. Parker & Scott, or whoever the maker was. Any maker's stamp on the inside of the locks?

Also the muzzle loaders weren't finished like the breechloaders. A wad was placed about 1/8" into the bore and shot set on in a layer only to cover the way and fill the bore. From this they were able to mate the powder & shot to the bore.
