Camo,it's pretty typical for older Brit doubles to have had a little honing. That's only a real problem if you end up with barrel walls that are too thin, or if all the choke is taken out and you want a gun that has some.
One barrel damascus? Maybe other guys here have seen that, and I suppose it'd be possible to sleeve one barrel without doing the other, but I don't think I've ever seen a gun with one each damascus and fluid steel barrel. Unless you mean it has two SETS of barrels, one damascus and one fluid.
