I answered you this morning but as I submitted it the board went down.
The pictures represent the colors very well on my screen however each screen has a little different tint. I would call it more of a honey brown.
The lines of the gun are even more beautiful than I thought when I saw the original sample guns.
I still am not sure whether the wood is Turkish Exhibition but that is what I ordered. It is beautiful in any case.
Unfortunately it does not fit me well and I am going to call Galazan tomorrow to see if the stock can be adjusted (bent to my measurements).

According to Lou, the "A" in the serial number has absolutely no meaning at all.
Also, the serial number sequence has no bearing on when you placed the order or when it was shipped. It is on there when they machine the receivers months before the gun is put together.

Very, very nice looking gun builder. The wood is very much to my taste but is not what I'd expect Turkish to look like. I would have guessed it was a very nice piece of American Black Walnut.

Thank you for the compliment. I emailed the picture of the stock to Galazan and their response was that it is Turkish Walnut and has marvelously figured wood by any reasonable standard.

I agree with Vin, it may be atypical of Turkish but that wood is gorgeous. The lighter (at least relative to mine) color really shows the figure.
I'm curious, what didn't suit you about the stock dimensions?

I believe the drop is 1 3/8 and 2 1/4 according to reference I have seen in literature and talking to Galazan. I have not measured them myself but when I look down the barrels when mounted I see the whole rib- sort of like a trap gun.
Galazan said I could bend it but it will probably need refinishing. I am not sure why it will need refinishing. They also said it may be hard to find someone to do it since they think this is the first gun that someone wanted to bend the stock.
I imagine I could learn to shoot it as is but since I usually shoot a different gun each time I am out I have decided that the guns I have need to fit me not the other way around. I have been systematically going through my collection adjusting them (I have done six so far) and I am much happier with this arrangement even though it becomes expensive and a lot of work to mail guns. A little nerve wracking also.
