I have been posting pictures on the internet since 1995. I have 2 cameras, one is a 9 MP, the other is a 3 MP. At the time I bought the 3 mp is was top of the line. I still use it instead of the 9 MP as you can only get a certain amout of resolutions on the web, no matter what as the monitor will now show it after a certain amount. I would have to look up that resolution. When I have used the 9 MP, even on lowest settings the file becomes too large. So with the 3 MP. the file is about 57-75 MP. Some website prefer and request files in this range for posting as it takes up less space on there server and it down loads to the viewer faster. Since I post alot of pictures this is important.
