A guy in the area has a large collection of colts...One is a 99% condition, as issued SAA 7 1/2in army....The gun looks new. He picked it up at the Rock Island Arsenal back in the late 50s along with many others for next to nothing when they were doing a little house cleaning....Says hes been offered well over $200,000 for it...He always has a table at one of the Antique gun show/sales in the area with a lot of well worn pre ww1 guns and parts 4sale but a couple years ago instead of a 4sale table he just had a just 4 display table FULL of pre ww1 single action Colts...must have been 50/60 revolvers even a Walker and Dragoon...It was impressive...even 4 someone not really into them....
