Mike, You are right on all points. Mine is a "beater" for the farm. Lots of critters to take out. It goes with me scoped and a .22/250. This combo (20-30/30) was perfect for the small deer and had plenty of range for jungle distances. TW makes the point that the .257R was probably even more suited for his needs there. I hope Michael can tell us from his Adolph information more about this. I think, and I have some "inside information" that TW gave this rifle away quite a few years before he died. Michael?
