My money is on snap caps out of spec. Did the fired shells come from that gun, I suspect not. Normally fire formed cases will function in the gun they were fired in.
But in the future:
take the ejectors out and leave them out. try first with one round in right barrel, if closes okay, try with round in left barrel.
If it works and closes without issue then its possibly an issue with ejector blades.
eliminate the variables.
even then it can be rim recess depths.
The inverse to this is that I have found snap caps that fell behind the ejector blades because they were so small.
