Dan and Anthony did all the metal sculpting. They consulted closely with Ken. All these guys have great respect for each other and I feel very comfortable with the way they've worked together.

I really like it. The engraving is very appropriate to a Fox because the late A Grades had an art deco design. It is a engraving design that "could have been". I also like the stippling on the background. In short I think it is very well thought out and executed. Congrats to you and Ken.

I-Mod, I also like the stippling. I can't wait to put a glass on it to see if it meets my closeup criteria. I am told that the stippling creates the contrast that is sometimes diminished on a gun that is finished in grey, as this one will be. In my opinion, the F Grade Fox that was pictured in DGJ that was almost entirely stippled was a striking piece of work. What do you think of the back view of the Becker shelf? Neat, huh?

I like that one a lot! The Sterlingworth makes a great platform for custom work; I'd love to have mine done like that...Geo

The background was recessed approx. 1/64" and then stippled in order to leave a totally flat black finish & make the eagle "pop" . There is a shading which doesn't show due to the very fine cuts & light bouncing out of cuts into camera eye.

Valmet, I had the pleasure of seeing Dan and Anthony doing the filing while it was work in progress at their end. It's great seeing what Ken is doing to it. I look forward to seeing your completed gun! Frank

That is some impressive whittling in steel. Mr. Ken, your scratchin' isn't bad, neither. It is always great to see art in process.
