CJ, is the gun marked A Grade? There are features that make it appear a bit higher.

Daryl,..the stamp says A, maybe the punch broke and they couldn't stamp the other A

C J, Lefevers are a real favorite of mine and this is a wonderful example of the breed.
I am convinced that Uncle Dan really didn't like stockmakers very much because they are a real bear to inlet IMO.
I will say that the checkering on high end Lefevers exceeds, by a wide margin, anything from across the pond.

Good Lord !! What a piece of work. I can believe that inletting those curved tangs would be a test of patience.Gives us all a point of reference for high quality at its zenith.

That is a Best gun in my book. Lefever made as good a gun as the buyer could afford and gave him both style and value for his money.
