This was of course many years ago & am operating strictly on memory. As I recall though the model 59 bbls so tested were reported as totally unharmed, ie not only did they not Burst, they likewise were not bulged or no other notable damage occured. No, it was not done in an official proof house but would seem as if they would have "Passed". My recollection of the account totally fits with the info Larry has supplied.
