Thanks for all the replies,...I'm glad you like it.
Not only is it a looker, it's shooting qualities are every bit as goo as the overall aesthetics.
I took it out yesterday and shot two consecutive 23's on five stand with the old thing,.... if you catch them just right those tight chokes can sure smoke targets

To answer some of your questions I believe the gold pigeon on the lever was pretty much a standart thing on the higher grade guns,...it has a single selective trigger as you can see from the picture below.
It has 2 3/4" chambers with large mirror bores .740" and it's choked .040" on both sides. the ejectors are timed perfectly and chuck the empties a good 6-8 feet!
The gun has modern dimensions that just happen to fit me quite well LOP 14 1/2" to a horn butt plate, D@C 1 1/2" D@H 2 5/8" and cast-off 3/8 x 1/2

Best

CJ

Since I can't seem to log back in there I will post it here

I just noticed that someone in the Lefever forum made some reference about the stock being cut!
Not that I would have to proove anything,....but like I said before--not a screw has been turned.

Want to sell it?

(I'm probably not the first to ask.)

Claudio, that is a fine gun. The "thicker than normal" buttplate is not common, but I have seen a dozen or so over the years, one measuring one inch thick.
