I have a Hunter One trigger, non selective, on a 12 ga. 'Smith.
Is the selector spring required?

There is a screw and the "screw eye", for the broken spring in the trigger plate.
What is the purpose of the spring on a non-selective trigger?
Is there a source for the spring?
