They have more guns that I am interested in than any two other dealers. Almost all of them are priced well above what I consider reasonable prices. They seem to buy almost all the guns they come across in their travels. But they do not seem to move very many of them. Guns on thier website tend to be listed for a long time.

Lots of refinished gun or restocked guns for not refinished or restocked prices. Not a case of Mr. Ed and his mighty tourch but more often an old refinished job that is not noted in the description. Certain restock jobs that are not listed as such.

If you think a dealer can not spot a refinished gun you might be interested in a little waterfront property that I have. You need to hold your breath while you are enjoying it, but the water over your head does keep all the bugs away.

They will answer question if asked, but sometimes seem to "lack key knowledge". So ask all the right questions and keep your eyes open because it truely is buyer beware. I have bought and returned three guns from them. Refund was given but I was out shipping both ways. I still would take a chance on them for another gun if it was one I thought I really needed or wanted.

I wonder if there would be a gun list without them. Agree with other posters, the stuff they list is consistantly 45-185% higher in price than similar, elsewere. Buyer beware is enough, why help the guys to their first million with far too great a contribution out of your pocket?

They have to charge more to pay for all those ads! They are father and son i have been told and some of their guns run for a year or two without being sold. Bobby

You can get Gun List classified ads on line if you google them up. Then just go to most any listing for Lefever, Fox or Ithaca and you will see them listed repeatedly. Or just go to their website.

KY Jon is right on.

I hunt up around their shop and I stop in there every now and then.

Those guys are dumb sellers: "You mean that's a refinish? I'll be darn" - that kind of stuff.

I'm sure they know how to spot a refinish when it comes time to buy, though.

Buyer beware X 2.
