What could be done to tweak the bluing process of a set of Parker bbls. to obtain a more bluish hue. Tried Mk Le, very black outcome, and used Plktn, grayish black outcome using each at full strength then diluting down to 50/50. Rusted, no sweat box until yellow rust then boiled at 180-200 degrees for 8-10 min. in distilled H2o and repeated process while being sure no oil was afloat in tank. Pits were initially removed and bbl's. polished to 220 grit, bbl's. were thoroughly degreased. Thanks in advance, G.
