If you mean the Valier, I have handled and shot a few. I dont think I would buy one unless it was REALLY low priced. The fit and finish, for a 4000+ gun was IMHO pretty primitive. They seemd too heavy for the class. I was intrigued by the 16, but not enough to buy one. Kimber has disassociated them selves with it. Same gun is seen now and then as the "Hatfield". Paul Crosnoe had a couple.

The Ruffed Grouse Society had a bunch they were trying to move as part of a promotional effort. If you're interested in a higher dollar Turkish-made gun (more expensive than the CZ's, for example), I'd suggest the S&W doubles. A good bit less money than the Valiers. Last one I shot was pretty nice.

Just returned to read the replies, I have been wanting to acquire a modern american made double and someone informed me of the Kimber, I just found out today before reading the replies that Kimber is no longer in the sxs bussiness and it was never a american gun anyway. My son has one of the new Smith and Wessons and yes it is nice but not what I want also being Turkish. I have been kicking around the Connecticut Manufacturing RBL but I didn't get very positive information on it either on the board a while back. Is there any true american made sxs being manufactured other than the RBL? I know that Connecticut Manufacturing also makes 21's and Fox but their way out of my price range.
