For a classical HiWall varminter, check out the F.R. Butler 2R Lovell at griffinhowe.com, click on gun room, then on used rifles and search for Butler. On a Schuetzen action (criminal today), just under 10 lbs., has the typical Butler scroll carving at the cheekpiece nose. Butler made rifles in the 40s and 50s, well known for HiWall varminters but I have two of his Krag sporters in .30-40. IMO the G&H $3650 price is out of bounds, on the other hands one of their fancy shotgun customers could well buy it on a whim.
