I have to agree with marklart on both comments (save for a 75 cm barrel on the double). The gun I have taken most grouse with was the 16X65 barrel of a kombi gun because I carried it in grouse and turkey areas way, way more than any other gun. More grouse fell to that gun than to all others I have used. Also far fewer shots per grouse, thanks to picking shots I was sure of.

But, some days I wished I had a second shotgun barrel.
