I like my 6 lb. Parker Repro 28 ga. for ruffed grouse, agree with Jack that anything much heavier is more than I want to carry by the wrist one-handed for very long.

For pheasants and prairie grouse I use a 6-3/4 lb. 16 ga. M-21. It's heavier than many 16s, but still an easy all day carry for 2 hands. I'm 54, maybe when I'm older I'll want something lighter. And I'm ignorant cretin enough to see nothing ugly in the 21's frame or it's lines with straight grip and splinter forend. I don't like the look of the PG/BTFE - on a 21 or any other gun.
