I have definitive written proof this rifle came out of a group of guns from the estate of famous sportswriter and Broadway raconteur Damon Runyon. He wrote "GUYS AND DOLLS" ,"POCKETFUL OF MIRACLES" ,AND "LITTLE MISS MARKER".
If anyone should happen to come upon a single lever G&H side mount, preferably in refurbable condition I would appreciate a shout! I don't need the base but i would need the rings with the mount.
