not sure what you mean by miner model? unless you are talking field grade. There is no special engravings or designs. Was passed down from Grandfather.

Welcome. You are at the right website for Ithaca information. I am no expert on Ithaca guns. Walt Snyder who has written extensively on them often checks in. The Ithaca sxs guns changed over time. They are known by the model names. Take a look here. http://www.doublegunshop.com/dgsnos3.htm The gap between 1906 and 1908 is known as the Minier. It would really help if you posted at least the serial number. Value requires a lot more information. What type of barrels; damascus, twist or fluid? Does it have extractors or ejectors? Actually pictures would be best. Pete

#149756 is the serial number or what we were told is the part number which is located underneath the barrel and on the receiver. on the top of the barrel it says smokeless powder steel. It also has a small insignia with Ithaca Hammerless in it on both sides.

Pete; Very easy matter to overlook, I have been guilty of asking about info given in the subject line myself, so felt I had the right to rib you a little about it. Hope you took it as good natured joking as intended. From your reply, I believe you did.

No problem. Not sure what I was thinking.
