I have definitive written proof this rifle came out of a group of guns from the estate of famous sportswriter and Broadway raconteur Damon Runyon. He wrote "GUYS AND DOLLS" ,"POCKETFUL OF MIRACLES" ,AND "LITTLE MISS MARKER".

If anyone should happen to come upon a single lever G&H side mount, preferably in refurbable condition I would appreciate a shout! I don't need the base but i would need the rings with the mount. The fact that I don't need a base might make it a little easier to get one. Thanks to my "Band of Brothers" out there, for any time you expend in kindly helping me. Warmest Regards Jerry

Ben: I tried to speak to this shop and their recording said it has been closed due to John's illness since Feb.27 and was supposed to reopen Sat. morning [which one it didn't say?] at 10 a.m. The owner John is obviously very ill, can you let me know if you hear anything or find out when or if, they are reopening?
