KY. These are not targeted Elephants these are Elephants that are destroying crops and invading local Villages. Below is a Photo of the Prime example as to why these elephants as PAC (Problem Animal Control) permit's. On average these Elephant are about 30-50lbs and yes that is very small in my book as well.
Its not that there aren't heavier tuskers around its just these "Juvenile or Rouge" bulls are making life very dangerous and difficult for locals. With the Elephant populations growing my leaps and bounds this is the only way to handle the situation and still make some money without reverting to complete eradication by poachers and Ivory smuggling.
