ok so this weekend i came across something and got it for??? well lets say a keystone tall boy and a song would cost more .
if im right , by the markings its german . The barrels are still cleanly on face
and bore is clean . the numbers all match .
but im missing the forstock .
now normally i can make this in my shop . but after looking it over , it appears the ejectors work of the metal section of the forstock , not the receiver .
Would anyone know the maker or production history of this piece . I would also greatly appreciate any advice or photos that would lead me to finding or making a replacement forstock and hardware

the woods must be full of for ends i think there is a line forming, you might have to take a number

well like i said , i can make the part . no issues there . but i am near sure that it has to have a part that pushes on the ejector when it broke open ???

The Nitro marking indicates it's made between 1912-1939. Other markings show 20 gauge with choke.

It looks like a Heym but that's a guess, lots of the Suhl actions look like that.

Making new fore end metal will be a labor of love, until you're 1/3 of the way done, then it'll prolly be a labor of hate.

ya i know LOL i made a couple before . but one has to do what one has to do . exspecialy if a replacment cant be found LOL

if this was a complete piece , and in in the condition its in , good but not pristine . what would be the value ? ball park ? anyone have an idea . not that im in for selling it , because im not , but i would like a ball park figure
