The 870 is a better gun than that 1100??
This is too subjective. I was a full time Law Enforcement Firearms Instructor for about 11 years. Many people will short stroke an 870 and cause jams. I have seen several 870 jams on pheasant hunts also.
90% of the regular shooters out there use a 1100??
I must politly disagree with these statements.
I do not see that many people shooting 1100s at skeet anymore but I might move in different circles that you. I think they are a great gun and I know that Bender shot one for years and unless my memory fails me, I watched a young man use one to win the 12 ga event at the World Skeet shoot last year but you still see more K-80s than anything else. Caveat, I am a large person and like large heavy guns but I believe I can separate my opinions from observations.
I still like Citoris but my back up gun(which I have never needed)is an SKB. One of the reasons is it has a mechanical trigger which I prefer on a skeet gun because it does not need a modification for the 410 tubes.
