Check the German Gun Collectors Society. I don't have an e-mail address but I am sure you can get there with Google.
I know one of the past presidents and I will ask him to look at your gun and see if he has any advice.

GGCA is http://www.germanguns.com .

It looks like a Gebruder Rempt with the overhanging scears, oddly scalloped, reinforced frame with side clips, Krupp tubes and an Austrian cheekpiece. Proved in November 1923. Near the rib are the initials a script "EW"? Also near the 1261 is that a double set of single runes or lightening bolts or odd "s"s in a rhombus or square?

near the rib is R.W.
inside the Squares seem to me to have backwards Z so im thinking lightning bolts , 2 on each side
b just before the KRUPI ESSEN is a laid down T then _USSSTANL . not to sure if its an N as its very light .
thank you for the link . ill take some better photos and send them off to them and see what they can tell me

The sideways "T" is a "F" for FLUSSTAHL KRUPP ESSEN. The only "R.W." I can think of offhand is Aug. Richard Weisheit. I've seen the mark, sig rune/single rune( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sig_Rune ) on a Simson from the mid 1930s with Boehler tube I think. I don't know which tube maker was into the occult. Is the mark like the Sig Rune?

I think you are referring to the stamp of the Imperial Eagle and "Crown" over "S" both being a proofhouse mark.

As to value, I haven't seen a maker's name, so we can say Brand Value level five (BV5). Looking at the photos, I'd say Original Quality grade six (OQ6 = second grade BLE). Ignoring the missing FA, looks like heavy use, but no abuse would be a fair description; Current Condition level four (CC4). So, BV5-OQ6-CC4 = $450 for a 12 gauge. Considering the current fashion for 20 gauge, there is a premium of around 2X. Bottom line, $900 if it had the FA.

I believe the 205 below the 11/23 indicates it was the 205th gun proofed that month. As it was proofed as a 19 you can save a bundle not having to have it "Overbored" for enhanced performance while reducing recoil
