Replacement, I haven't cut the stock yet but that dimension is about what I expect to find when I do cut it. I would prefer red just for appearance sake and I am not against a good condition used pad and I'm thinking 3/4" - 1" including the black spacer (or base). Right, 2.5" - 2.75" is about what I was thinking too but a leather covered pad, properly done, is maybe a bit more costly than I had hoped to spend on the project. Iknow, I know. . . nothing's too good for the little lady, but. . .
