FWIW,
I use em in the smaller pocket American hulls and the larger Cheddites.....low pressure 16's to max 10's.
I have hade a few pierce, all of them on my long and pointy of tooth Flues. Methinks they are more prone to this if the gun is not to spec than others, but do not hold them as the cause.
They have been highly rated for consistant shot to shot performance as a middle-of-the-road(CX2000) primer. Perfect for most hand assembled loads sent to the pressure cannon.
Wish we could get the CX50 and the hotter version as well(which I no longer see listed at Clay and Game?).
