Hat's off to the fine folks at the LCSC for hosting another fine SxS shoot yesterday. I think everyone had a great time on a beautiful (albeit a bit breezy) Spring day. The comraderie, casual nature and chance to see some really fine guns make this an event not to miss. I'm already looking forward to their next shoot on July 18th.

Thanks LCSC!

Hi Phil,

Do you mean fine guns like these?

I'd smile too if I had a vent rib Parker!

You caught some great Pictures Mark!! I love the action ones. It was nice to meet you and several others. What is Carol Barnes shooting, English no doubt?? Nice that you caught her in the boat...it was the most difficult station for most. Great job Paul and company for putting together another successful shoot.

Carol Barnes has class- H&H hat, AYA single trigger 20 boresidelock. That's yours truly "Old Foxie" with the Green (what other color for both a 'Mick' and MSU FAN? Gander Mountain cap next to Dave- one of the great club members and pullers for our SC round. I did bring an older LeFever G Grade 12 ga., but in that foto I'm holding my Smith Grade 2 12- both sweet old DT doubles with 30" tubes- What a great club, my first time at a MI SxS shoot-won't be the last. The folks at the Lapeer Club were great hosts, the steak fry and "trimmings" was excellent-and nice group of folks to miss those *&^%$%# Chandelles (?) with. Never have seen a game bird fly like those rascals do-most challenging target I've ever missed. RWTF

Lock and Load on that "Gyrene"- You saw the LeFever G first, when we started with the swap and sell-By the way, club member and shooter Dave Dillinger went out of his way to help me with a "field fix" on that LeFever G-he was a Master Armorer in the USAF, and after the steak dinner checked over the LeFever-my first of Uncle Dan's fine old guns-the extractor bar was not moving smoothly, due to years of "crud"- Sunday I stripped it down and cleaned and emery cloth polished the bar-etc-re-assembled and test fired it-perfect- now the only excuse I'll have for missing with it will be the "Loose nut behind the stock" theory. I can say enough about guys like Paul, Dave(s) and others who hosted that shoot- a First Class op. all the way- "Hoo-Rah"!!!
