Visited the Gander Mountain stores in GR (MI) today- they had std. Federal plastic 1 & 1/8 oz. game loads at $19.95- and same but 1 oz. at $11.99 no quantity or "flat" discount as on 12 target loads. These are new 2.75" length shells. They also had Fiocchi 1 & 1/8" 16 loads at 22.95- and two older boxes of Federal 1 and 1/4 oz. Coppered 6 Premium loads at $24.95- if those had been 12 gauge, I would have snapped 'em up- I didn't know they loaded a 16 with more than 1 & 1/8 oz. of shot either-never heard of a 3" Mag in the 16-but never say never-I habitually "prowl" the out of the way older sporting goods stores and yard sales for "bargain ammo" and I collect the older paper shell boxes (I shoot up the paper hulls on pigeons)--so I might find you something, but wow- Gander had 28 gauge loads at almost $30.00/box--for those guys who like to shoot the 16 and or the 28 gauge guns, I can sure understand why reloading might not be a bad idea-
